Jesus in the Streets

"This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles." Psalm 34:6

Homeless and those without hope people are gifted Care Kits made up of underwear, socks, feminine hygiene, ChapStick, granola bars, cereal bars, water, hand wipes, Bible Tracts and tissues. People bring Granola bars, rice crispy snacks, orange juice, apple juice, juice boxes, apples and Ritz cheese and peanut butter filled crackers. We hand out Bibles to those who ask and we pray with all who will let us pray. We pray this act of kindness they receive is a reflection of God's love and kindness for us all. Thank you to all who made these gifts possible and thank you God for each person you call your son & daughter. We pray you set them free from their bondages as you hear their cries and save them from their troubles. Amen

Faithful Friends Nursing Home Ministry

Music is an integeral part of ministering to the elderly in nursing homes. We have found that music has a way of lifting their hearts and their spirits, and seems to reach even the most distant souls. Many residents have grown up in the church, with its rich music background and others will identify with songs from their generation. Other songs are very well received by the residents, and at times they sing along even though they may have trouble with ordinary conversation. See the schedule below and contact Pastor Clinton to join.
