Welcome Guests!

Our Sunday Services

Lifespring Church is a Church of multiple languages. Since 1927, Finnish Speaking people gathered at a basement storefront on Wellington Street. In 1936 they held services in homes and various locations. While at 133 Treelawne Ave in 1939, the Pentecostal congregation was named Betania (Finnish Pentecostal Assembly). In 1958, a new building was finished by volunteers on 50 Albert Street. In 1968, the purchase of a Church Camp was purchased on Lower Island lake that is still used to this day. In 1977, the Heijastin television program was broadcasted. in 1983, Betania Church was outgrowing their building and the English Pentecostal Church sold their Church building on 891 Peoples Road to them. The following year 1984, Betania Church changed their name to Helluntaikirkko, Finnish Pentecostal Church.

Over the year’s the Finnish Speaking Members of the Church have provided a Worship Service for the Finnish speaking residence of Sault Ste. Marie. Not only were people able to worship God in their own cultural language, but they began opening their doors to the neighbourhood and a new english service was made available.

Fast forward to 2009

Helluntaikirkko changed its name once again to what is known today as Lifespring Church-Kotikirkko.

Sunday mornings at Lifespring Church is a time for fellowship, worship, prayer, and hearing the Word of God.  It’s a time where we come together corporately to pray for our church family, our city, our country, and the world.  We are a community of believers in Christ Jesus who love people and love to serve in many different ways.
